Diwali Party at Jeevanjyot school for Differently abled Children

Based on wonderful suggestion from Tr Jignesh and Tr Shantanu, we assembled at 1.15 pm on Sat 18th Oct. It was last school day before diwali vacations and school breaks off at 1.15
Tr Shantanu, Tr Gautam, Tr Chirag, Tr Janak, Tr Rajesh Kokane, Tr Rajesh Bharatiya, Tr Gaurang , Mrs Priti, Mrs Deepali, Twinklers Riya and Parth, did not expect that it could be an afternoon which will be treasured in the memory for long. Table had funded for buying the crackers and arranging for Diwali snacks for all 150 children.

The children welcomed us, shook hands with us and gave us smiles which we would remember for long. After brief speeches from principal and Tr Gautam introducing the table, the scene shifted to Crackers. Tr Shantanu and Tr Chirag led the occasion by ceremonially lighting up crackers (for a change). Then the school staff and student volunteers took over and had a gala time. The faces and awe in their eyes said it all. They really enjoyed and it was a satisfaction that set in to have resulted in such wonderful gestures and lightening up the burdens these children have to carry for no fault of theirs whole life.

Then the snacks were distributed and were enjoyed by all. They gifted us Diyas and faral made by them as a gesture of thanks. Really a great party to be in and was the most happening Diwali party we ever would have attended. Any those present won’t disagree with me. Thanks to Tr Jignesh who is aleady associated with the school independently and Tr Shantanu for such a great event for the table.
