The CII - Young Indians has partnered with Franklin Covey Institute to organise learning sessions across its chapters in 2008-09. As part of our HRD initiatitve Young Indians (Yi) Ahmedabad chapter & Ahmedabad Round Table # 40 is organizing a learning session on Leadership. Mr Lavleen Rajeja CEO, Franklin Covey Institute would address the participants at the session which is being scheduled at 1430 hrs - 1730 hrs on 15 November 2008 at The Hotel Metropole, Subhash Bridge, Ahmedabad.

Leadership is very different from management. As has often been said, "You manage things; you lead people." More than ever today the need in our organizations is for not just management, and not even effective leadership, but great leadership. However you define leadership in your organization, the difference between effective managers and great leaders comes down to a few core characteristics.

Franklin Covey's powerful new leadership development process build these capabilities in leaders and potential leaders - giving them the mindset and skills to provide vision, build trust, align systems, increase customer loyalty, create a culture of achievement, and inspire and engage their teams in the pursuit of sustainable, worthwhile results. But a step change in effectiveness comes through a full learning process including application.

This two and half hour session would give participants an overview of Franklin Covey's new leadership development process which would help them to have the mindset which is necessary to unleash the talent and capability of their teams to achieve the organization's highest priorities.

I am writing to cordially invite you to attend the session along with your colleagues, friends & relatives. I request you to kindly confirm your presence via a return mail through the attached Reply Form.

Kindly note that the fees for the Session is Rs. 500 for all the CII-Yi & Round Table members & Rs. 600 for non-members, just to defray the administration cost. The session will start sharp at 1500 hrs.

Regards,

Prakash Udeshi
Chairman
Ahmedabad Round Table # 40
