Independence Day Celebration

As our country celebrated it 60th Independence Day, we witnessed the next generation talk of the greatness of the occasion. The Twinklers dressed in the tri-colours of the Indian flag narrated the history of Indian Independence and the meaning behind the Indian Flag. They put up a good show and stole the attention for the evening.

Tr Ankit and Cr. Mona Parekh hosted the dinner get-together on 14th August, '08 at their residence at Shivaji Park . The highlight for dinner was some scrumptious Gujrathi Cuisine organized by our host. We had the presence of Sq. Legs, tablers from RT 6, RT 19, RT 198 and past circlers among the circle of BRT 2 that evening.

It was great to see everyone sporting the tricolour theme. The evening seemed to flow from one good thing into another. Everyone was in high spirits. Right after dinner which went on till midnight, our tablers got into the mood of kick-starting the season of Diwali with games of Taash. The crowd enjoyed every bit of their evening.
